The most important element of Religious Deism (RD) theology, as described in its creed, is having children and raising a family. While one can assume from Christianity and Islamic doctrine that children and family are important, neither one of their creeds or professions of faith mention this at all and their holy books only nominally mention children and families at all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Religious Deism thinks that if Christian and Muslim books were in fact divinely inspired, they would not be so ambivalent about children and family. Religious Deists believe that any religion or theology that does not include the importance of family and children in the pillars of its creed or profession of faith, is misguided and deemphasizes what Religious Deism believes is the key to our understanding of and becoming closer to God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Religious Deism would like to challenge Christians and Muslims, and any other religions that do not place children at the top of their priorities, to ask themselves how and why their most holy books are virtually indifferent about the importance of children and family, especially when most religious people would probably agree that children and family are fundamental if not the fundamental part of our humaness and our ability to come to understand God and the importance of our lives on earth. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
