Anyone with a moral compass tries to do the right thing when interacting with others. However, there are certain times during our daily regimen when avoiding moral relativism can be especially difficult. First, when we are at work, often we find ways to justify that treating people one way outside of work and another way at work is acceptable as some kind of work reality. Sorry, but that is moral relativism and is unacceptable in Religious Deism. Second, we often treat people outside of our family better than we treat our immediate family and justify it along the lines of “familiarity breeds contempt”. This is also an unacceptable excuse to Religious Deists. Last and probably most difficult, when we are in traffic and dealing with the “impersonal” people\/cars around us, try to see if we can avoid the moral relativism of treating people without your moral compass. Getting mad in traffic is understandable, human and probably acceptable on certain levels. However, it is a great gauge about to what extent we are truly aware of this challenge and able to avoid moral relativism.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
